We are a walk in clinic and always willing to take on new clients. We know your time is valuable and we do our best to see you as quickly as possible, but some days it can be a long wait due to emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances. We invite you to call ahead to check anticipated wait times before you come to the clinic. We also may have days where we have to stop taking check ins because of the number of animals we already have to take care of.

Feel free to call us at (306) 525-5244. We can answer any questions you may have.

Our History

The Animal Clinic of Regina was established in 1952 by the late Dr. Harold Hunter. Our building, at the corner of Garnet St. and Saskatchewan Dr., has been a distinctive Regina landmark since it was built by the Regina Trading Company in 1924. The building housed horses for delivery work, excavation, and pleasure riding up until the mid 1960s.

Major renovations to begin the 1970s coincided with a shift to “small animal practice only.” While the appearance of the building and the practice’s focus has changed, Dr. Hunter’s original emphasis on service has not. Our walk-in philosophy and seven-days-a-week hours are a reflection of that. Our goal is to provide you and your pet with the best veterinary care and most convenient and prompt service possible.
