Michelle Achter Office Manager/Veterinary Technologist
Michelle has been with the Animal Clinic of Regina since 1997 as a Veterinary Technologist and most recently has moved into the position of Office Manager. She was born and raised in Regina and with the exception of a few years away, has lived here all her life. When she is not busy keeping up with her three children, she enjoys watching sports, mostly the Riders, hockey and curling. She also helps her husband run a ball team in a Sunday fun league.

Shannon Day Veterinary Assistant
Shannon started working as a Veterinary Assistant in 1998 at another clinic in Regina where she worked for almost 4 years. She then went to work at the Regina Humane Society as an Animal Protection Officer for the next half decade. In June of 2007, Shannon came to work for the Animal Clinic of Regina. She enjoys the fast paced environment of the walk-in clinic and never knowing what surprise will be around the corner. Shannon has had many pets over the years, from Pugs to a Bulldog to a three-legged Border Collie and a cat. She now has only her little Yorkie left who she likes to dress up. You may find them walking about downtown or jogging in Wascana Park, Shannon in her scrubs and Gertie in her stroller.
Jen Gibson Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant
Jen G (as she's known around the Clinic) has wanted to work with animals since she was very, very little, but it took her 40 years to actually do it. She first started at the Animal Clinic of Regina as a volunteer in the summer of '09, then moved into a staff position shortly thereafter. While Jen G has worked in everything from a lawnmower parts warehouse to CBC Radio, and has played gigs as a singer/songwriter from Comox, BC to Stratford, ON, she thinks working at the Clinic is the best job yet. Hanging out with the great staff and all the dogs and cats really is as much fun as she thought it would be.

Marilyn Janecky-James Receptionist
Marilyn joined the Animal Clinic of Regina staff in the last century: 1999. Before coming to the Clinic, she worked at several museums and historic houses. Marilyn has 5 adult children and 4 fur kids. She enjoys cooking and quilting. She and her husband participate in dog sports with their Weimaraners. Although Marilyn could probably qualify as a museum artifact herself, she really enjoys the great staff and her duties at the Clinic.

Kim Middleton Receptionist
After graduating from St. Lawrence College (Kingston, ON) with a diploma in Animal Health Technology in the 1970's, Kim did a lot of traveling. In fact, she did twenty two years of it through Western Canada and the western United States before finally settling down in Regina. Kim joined the staff of the Animal Clinic of Regina in July of 2000 as a receptionist and truly loves it. She looks forward to going to work every day and seeing our wonderful clients. Her family includes her 9 year old son, Rawley, and her partner Lou, who has been with Degelman's for 18 years. Kim also shares her home with four legged friends too: Cody, a two year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and Ruby, a 6 year old tortie who is the queen of the house. After Kim, of course!

Angela Nisbett Veterinary Technologist
Angela first started here as a volunteer in high school in 1998. It turned out to be a match made in heaven, so after a few years of collecting a paycheque, she went to school and graduated from SIAST as a Veterinary Technologist in 2004. When she’s not performing dentals or dealing with the variety of cases we see here, Angela likes to entertain at home and do fun things with her two happy and free spirited kids. Her own dog, Suzie, is a failed foster dog, meaning she won over the family’s heart so they kept her!

Jessica McKinnon Veterinary Assistant
Jessica has been working at the Animal Clinic of Regina since May 2009 as a kennel/vet assistant but has been working in the veterinary field since 2007. She graduated from the University of Regina with her Biology degree in the Spring of 2011 and is currently applying for Veterinary Medicine at the WCVM. She is a heavy competitor in equestrian show jumping and travels all over the country with her 12 year old thoroughbred mare, Minni, including Spruce Meadows and the Canadian Championships in Quebec. In her spare time she enjoys sketching, airbrushing, working on cars and training her horse as well as others’. Her current family of pets include a horse, 3 cats, a hedgehog and a budgie, but the endless list of previous pets does not end there!
Lindsay Chapman Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist
Lindsay has worked for the Animal Clinic since March of 2008, with two hiatuses which have allowed her to study marine biology abroad as well as microbiology at the U of R. Currently she is completing her Bachelors of Science with a major in Biology, and interested in both animal physiology and microbiology. Lindsay loves the clinic's atmosphere, clients and staff and being a weekend staff member means never a dull moment. Her cat, Roscoe, is the best ever, or so she says...

Samantha Tetlock Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist
Sam is in her third year at the University of Regina, majoring in Biology. She hopes to attend the Western College of Veterinary Medicine to become a veterinarian, as her life long goal is to make an impact on animal welfare in today's society. When she’s not in school or here at the Clinic, she plays rugby for the Regina Women’s Rogues. She is owned by Toby, a grey tabby rescued from the Humane Society.

Erica Sims Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist
Erica is attending the University of Regina, finishing off a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology. She loves working at the Animal Clinic because every day is different. Being a walk in clinic, you just never know who or what will walk through that door! When she’s not here, or looking after her dog, Cody, and two cats, Sammy and Jazz, Erica takes time to paint and draw. She hopes to become a veterinarian in the near future.
Michelle Hallick Veterinary Technician (photo coming!)
Michelle graduated from SIAST as a Vet tech in June of 2011 and began working at the Animal Clinic soon after. She is originally from a farm outside of Sturgis, SK, where her family has a cow/calf and grain operation. Michelle enjoys helping her dad out on the farm, as well as hunting fishing and riding on quads in the summer and sleds in the winter.
Chantel Cattel Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist (photo coming!)
Chantal spent 10 years working with the Regina Humane Society as an Animal Protections officer before joining us here at ACOR. Her training includes animal behaviour and wildlife handling techniques. Chantal is a mom to two kids, aged 7 and almost 5, and loves to spend time with them, swimming, tobogganing, skating and playing with their 4 cats, 3 dogs and 4 ferrets!
