Dr. Lesley Sheppard
Dr. Lesley Sheppard is a native of Toronto and a 1992 graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College.  Dr Sheppard joined our professional staff in 2002, became a partner in the practice in July of 2007 and managing partner in March 2010.  Married to Regina Symphony Orchestra Musical Director, Victor Sawa, Dr. Sheppard's career has included stops in Kitchener and Calgary, before she and the Maestro settled in Regina.  Dr. Sheppard has been the driving force behind the Remote Area Veterinary Services program, a group of veterinarians and support staff that have made 5 trips to the far north of our province to hold vaccination and spay/neuter clinics in areas without access to veterinary services.  Dr. Sheppard's efforts have drawn attention and acclaim from far and wide including the Saskatchewan Centennial Medal along with her colleagues, Drs. Karen and Greg Harasen, the Meritorious Service Award from the Saskatchewan Veterinary Medical Association, and most recently, kudos (and a cash donation) from Academy Award-winning actress Charlize Theron!
Dr. Sheppard is also a busy mother to two school-age daughters, Mariko and Michiko.

Dr. Stacey Huchkowsky

Dr. Huchkowsky hails from Saskatoon and is a 2002 graduate of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine.  She joined our professional staff immediately after graduation and now looks at Regina as home, particularly since her twin sister, a pharmacist, is also pursuing her career in the Queen City.
Dr. Huchkowsky divides her attentions between her husband, Andre, her  two daughters, and her two cats, but also finds time to be very active as a Ukrainian dancer.

Dr. Jennifer Jinks

Dr. Jinks' family calls the Indian Head area home.  She's a 2001 graduate of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine and spent the first part of her career in the Yukon.  After almost three years there she joined our professional staff for a few months before heading off to New Brunswick for a year.  We're very pleased she's back home....along with her pet rabbit and her Golden Retriever, Jessie.

Dr. Durling is a 1989 graduate of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine.  When not at the Animal Clinic of Regina, she operates her own mobile large animal veterinary service.  But all that doesn't keep Dr. Durling nearly busy enough!  She and her husband, Fenton, operate a berry farm, raise livestock and their three children.

Dr. Ashley Ziegler
Dr. Ziegler is the newest member of our professional staff having just joined us in June of 2009.  She is a 2009 graduate of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr Ziegler was born in Calgary and raised in the picturesque community of Cochrane, Alberta (She's partial to "creamsicle" ice cream at the famous McKay's ice cream parlour in Cochrane!).  She started her undergraduate training at the University of Calgary before being accepted to the veterinary college in Saskatoon.  She was a very successful student receiving the award for small animal surgery in her graduating year.  Dr. Ziegler is an  accomplished water-skiier and snowboarder which has made the move to the prairies a bit of a rude awakening!  She did make a trip out to the Harasen's cottage this summer where she was able to do a bit of skiing.  Ashley and her cat, Oscar, are adjusting to life in Regina and we're very happy to have her (them!) with us.
